New manga book series: Athletes living with disabilities

In collaboration with France’s National Paralympic Committee

Manga books are very common in France, and around the world. This year, with publication of 3 original manga books, Fondation Ipsen aims to raise awareness on people living with disabilities.

The Paralympic Games are a major international event for disabled athletes. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Paralympic and Olympic games have been postponed. Fondation Ipsen is convinced that this is the perfect occasion to raise interest among youth to learn more about the Paralympic games, and disseminate messages of tolerance and braveness conveyed by these athletes.

In collaboration with France’s National Paralympic Committee, Fondation Ipsen will focus this new collection of manga books on 3 sports played by disabled athletes. As customary, these manga books will be available for free in English and in French, and distributed free of charge to schools and public libraries.
