Children are specially affected by rare diseases
75% of patients with a rare disease are children. We consider that awareness of these diseases during childhood must therefore be improved.
A collection of books for children and by children
In collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, Fondation Ipsen publishes a series of illustrated children’s books on rare diseases. The books are written by young patients suffering from these diseases, with the help of their doctors. These books are available on demand for free (hard copy or digital format).
