“The marathon is a fight, just like my life — it’s my way of showing that I exist.” — Claude Revert
Born with Hirschsprung’s disease, abandoned at birth, and long destined for immobility, Claude Revert chose running as his way to fight, to live, and to bear witness. A former wounded military serviceman, he turns every step into an act of resilience and now runs for all those who remain unseen — people living with rare diseases and invisible disabilities.
For his 54th birthday, he took on a symbolic challenge: running 54 km around Paris in support of the Bleuet de France, with the help of the Île-de-France Regional Olympic and Sports Committee. A race that embodies strength, solidarity, and hope.
