CRISPR-Cas9 Craze: Interviews

CRISPR-Cas9 Craze

The last Colloque Médecine & Recherche in Neurosciences of the Fondation IPSEN gathered several experts of the genome-editing techniques. The apllications of this new molecular tool, which allows sustainable modification of any genome, are expanding. The aim of this meeting was to present how this technology is deeply changing Life Sciences and Biomedicine, thoughout the example of the Neurosciences. Indeed, the invited speakers, like Emmanuelle CHARPENTIER (Max Planck Institute), Rudolf JAENISCH (MIT) or Feng ZHANG (MIT), presented that these tools are advancing our understanding of development and function in the nervous system, uncovering the molecular causes of neurological disorders and changing gene therapy.

The Fondation Ipsen has made several interviews during this meeting: CRISPR-Cas9 Craze
Individual interviews :
Emmanuelle CHARPENTIER : A breakthrough technology for gene surgery
Rudolf JAENISCH : Genomic Engineering: Exploring in depth Neurdegenerative diseases
Marius WERNIG : New Therapeutic Hopes for White Matter Diseases
Amy WAGERS : Sustainable Rescue of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Feng ZHANG : A precise technology for therapeutics
