Alzheimer’s disease (1986-2016)

According to population ageing, Alzheimer Disease is major health concern and the Fondation IPSEN decided in 1980 to inform the scientific and medical communities of the recent advances throughout the annual organization of a dedicated “Colloque Médecine & Recherche” and the regular publication of a newsletter called “Alzheimer Actualities”.

Colloques Médecine et Recherche (1987-2012)

Years ago, when the disease was still almost unknown, Fondation IPSEN was already deeply committed to helping the scientific and medical community to understand its importance. This commitment has not stopped at encouraging the circulation of knowledge: Fondation IPSEN has also strived to ensure that research into Alzheimer’s disease and related neurodegenerative conditions benefits from all the progress of modern cellular and molecular biology.

The Fondation IPSEN’s Colloques Médecine et Recherche on Alzheimer’s disease have often been the first to deal with the latest discoveries in the field.
